Never heard of us? Get to know us!

We often hear at many of the industry trade shows we attend that much of the medical community has still not heard of SR Instruments, nor our brand of medical weighing systems – SR Scales. But we’ve been around since 1973.

Our extensive technical expertise in weighing technologies includes numerous patents that have been in use in the medical industry for decades. While building out our own brand of acute care scales, starting with stand-on and then wheelchair scales, we were actively involved with OEM customers who relied on our expertise in load cell design to create custom scale solutions for beds, lifters, and many other device applications that are likely in use in within your facilities.

As the years progressed, we expanded our line of SR Scales into a more complete offering for medical professionals whether they work in an emergency room or a general practice office. Multiple new product innovations were introduced such as our full line of space-saving wall mount scales, visiting nurse scales, and newly designed pediatric scales. By working closing with our end-user customers to design the products they need, our scales have gained a reputation as one of the most rugged and long-lasting line of medical scales in the market. In fact, it is not uncommon for us to see our scales still in medical facilities even after 15 or 20 years of use. This focus on quality enables us to back our products with the longest warranty in the medical scale industry: FOUR YEARS.
